Runheng colorful wide PVC waterproof coiled sheet, a high polymer waterproof coiled sheet with good performance, is mainly made of PVC resins with special auxiliaries and antiaging components added through the advanced technique by top grade equipment. The sheet features large tensile strength, high expansivity, small shrinkage, good flexibility at low temperature, and long life, etc. The sheet is 2.0M wide and 1.2MM, or 1.5MM, or 20.MM thick. It is stable in high quality with easy construction.
Construction & technique flow
PVC waterproof coiled sheet can be hot-pressed to base level through all-affixation, four-side-affixation, and strip-affixation. For steel roof, machine-affixation will be adopted.
I. Hot press welding means that two pieces of PVC coiled sheets overlapped by 50-80MM are heated through welding nozzle, making their edges well stuck through PVC’s thermoplasticity, then being integrated through the press of roller.
II. Affixation
1. All-affixation: The way means that the coiled sheet is completely stuck to base level, which is suitable for the non-deformable small roof in dry condition.
All-affixation improves the integral waterproof performance of roof since there is a layer of adhesive material between the coiled sheet and base level. If the roof is easily deformable, there may be breakage or blistering.
2. Four-side-affixation: the way means that the coiled sheet is stuck to base level by four sides with other parts reserved. In the process of affixation, the joints that contact coiled sheet to roof ridge and roof face shall be pasted to save material, and this is called point-affixation. Point-affixation requests five points in each square meter, and the area for each point is 100MMX100MM. The waterproof layer (not smaller than 800MM) shall be stuck to base level as well.
3.Point-affixation strengthens the deformability of waterproof layer and helps it avoid breakage or blistering, etc.
4. Strip-affixation: the way means that the coiled sheet is stuck to base level by strips. At least two 150MM wide strips are requested for a coiled sheet.
5. Machine-affixation: (For light steel roof)
As China develops rapidly, project construction has experienced the world-shaking changes. The light steel roof has played an important part in project construction. Meanwhile, the leakage of light steel roof becomes a problem. In China, PVC waterproof coiled sheet is only used for the waterproofing of light steel roof, and thermal insulation layer is first to be done. So machine-affixation is the only way for construction with procedures as below:
Firstly proceed with thermal insulation layer and well fix it to light steel roof, then spread waterproof board and make it fixed with fasteners per 20-30cm on the edges. (For special situation, the fasteners can also be put on other positions with 10-15cm waterproof board sealed). The fasteners can be covered under waterproof board since PVC waterproof board is hot-pressed for overlapping.
The fastener is composed of an iron sheet and a self-tapping screw. The screw can be struck to steel tile and roof beam through waterproof board and thermal insulation layer.
